Getting Started

It was surprisingly easy getting to this point.

This is meant to be a bit of an experiment as I learn more about the technologies underlying weblogs. These posts will continue for a time on a variety of topics:

- Computer H/W
- Computer S/W
. Blogging
. Sharepoint (WSS not SPS)
. FrontPage 2003
. Development w .Net
. Various Internet Technologies:
+ Dhtml
+ XML
+ XSLT
+ Xpath
+ etc, etc, ...
. Infopath
. Onenote (on a non-tablet laptop)
. Scripting (mostly WSH)
. Windows XP & 2003
. Automated system deployments and builds
. I'm sure there's other stuff that I'm forgetting...

- Physics
I'm not a physicist; I'm interested in learning where we are, what we know. Take what I say here with a grain of salt -- mostly it'll be me spouting upon what I think I understand: a throwing against the wall to see what sticks.
- Wodehouse and his times (ie 1900-1918)
- Public Policy and (hopefully only a little) politics
- Movie and book reviews from time to time
So I have to say that the compositional characteristics and the aesthetics of the resulting page are also more than adequate -- not complex mind you, but quite clean and attractive.

At some point I will move all of this to mine own site, which I'll want to be a combination of .Text, Frontpage, and Sharepoint implementations: the journey should be interesting...

ciao 4 now
